Nice game, but quirky controls/movement

This is a nice little game, and it has a running tutorial to teach you how to play. It has its own mechanics for jumping and other moves, and i thought it was worthy of note.

OTOH, the controls and movements were to quirky for me, and i did not just get used to it. Perhaps this would go away with more time than i am willing to give it.
